Nature Lions Bay Joins BC NAture

Our board is thrilled to announce that Nature Lions Bay is now a member club of BC Nature.

BC Nature functions as a federation of natural history clubs and organizations throughout BC. They provide naturalists and nature clubs of BC with a collective voice on conservation and environmental issues to foster an awareness, appreciation and understanding of our natural environment and advocate for the wise use of natural spaces so that they are maintained for future generations.

Our board made the decision to join BC Nature because our goals are closely aligned and we believe there is strength in collaborating locally, regionally and further afield to achieve the successes nature so desperately needs.

It also means members of Nature Lions Bay automatically become members of BC Nature, enjoying additional benefits:

• Lions Bay Nature News e-newsletter, activities and events

• BCnature Magazine (electronic or print copy) and e-news “Nature’s Voice”

• Access to field trips, webinars, events and conservation initiatives in Lions Bay and around BC

As we grow, we hope to expand these benefits.

Being a member club also enables donors who wish to support the work of Nature Lions Bay to receive tax receipts through BC Nature.
